Farid Ebrahim

Farid Ebrahim is a Senior Geoscientist at Equinor since August 2024, with a comprehensive background in geophysics and geological sciences. Previously, Farid served as a Project Geophysicist and Senior Geophysicist at CGG from June 2019 to June 2021 and held the position of Geosolutions Geophysicist at SLB from November 2022 to July 2024. Farid's early career included roles such as Intern Geoscientist at BG Group and Trainee Geologist at Petrobel - Egypt, complemented by experience in materials planning at GSK and editorial quality assurance at Hindawi Publishing Corporation. Farid has contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Stavanger for various geoscience courses. Farid holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geosciences Engineering from the University of Stavanger and has undertaken pre-master’s studies in Geophysics at Cairo University, where a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Geoscience was also obtained.
