John Arild Lie

John Arild Lie is a skilled mechanical engineer currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Equinor ASA. Since joining Equinor, they have led significant projects, including the Raia FPSO project and the Johan Sverdrup offshore field development, focusing on gas compressors and gas turbine combined cycles. Prior to their role at Equinor, John worked at GE Energy AS as a Principal Mechanical Engineer and Department Manager in Mechanical Engineering, and they also held a consulting position at Norconsult AS. John holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NTH Trondheim and a Bachelor's Degree from Bergen ingeniørhøgskole.
