Karan Saggi

Karan Saggi is a seasoned professional in communication and sustainability within the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager Communication and Head of Business Advisory Norway at Equinor since August 2015. Karan has extensive experience in positioning Equinor as a leading energy company by integrating oil, gas, renewables, carbon capture, and hydrogen while managing over 25 direct reports. Previous roles include Communication Manager for Global Exploration at Equinor and Sustainability Advisor in Global Exploration, where Karan was responsible for risk management and project sustainability across numerous countries. Prior to Equinor, Karan worked at Statoil as a Senior Engineer focusing on Safety and Sustainability in offshore drilling operations. Karan's early career included a summer internship at Aker BP ASA and a teaching assistant role at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, contributing to risk management and teamwork development. Karan holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the University of South-Eastern Norway.
