Maren Fuglesten

Maren Fuglesten is a Geoscientist at Vår Energi since August 2022, with prior experience as an Exploration Geologist at Aker BP ASA, where key contributions included the tectono-stratigraphic evolution of the Norwegian Sea. Maren completed a master thesis internship focusing on lithotype and petrophysical evaluation in the Alvheim Field to understand reservoir properties related to lithofacies. Academic involvement includes roles as a Student Teaching Assistant in 3D modeling, seismic interpretation, and various geology courses at the University of Stavanger. Maren holds a Master's degree in Petroleum Geosciences Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, complemented by education in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
