Ole Edvin Nystad

Ole Edvin Nystad has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Manager of Commercial and Area Development at Equinor since May 2018. Nystad's responsibilities include commercial leadership for key projects such as Njord, Bauge, and Hyme, along with project leadership roles in asset support and operational improvements. Prior to joining Equinor, Nystad worked at Statoil (now Equinor) from June 2005 to May 2018, progressing from Principal Consultant and Controller to Senior Analyst, with significant experience in operational planning and economic valuation for various fields in the Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea. Nystad holds a degree in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and has completed additional courses in leadership and strategy at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
