Risvan Dirza, PhD, currently serves as Principal Process Technology and Principal Engineer at Equinor since November 2023, focusing on technical plant optimization, process, operation, maintenance, and modification projects. Additionally, Risvan is a Lecturer at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara and has held a position as a Researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from February 2020 to November 2023, where involvement in innovation projects included obtaining grants for commercialization and collaboration with AkerBP. Prior experience includes a PhD Research Fellowship at NTNU working on field-wide production optimization, engineering roles at Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ Ltd, and various academic and industry positions across institutions such as Eindhoven University of Technology and ExxonMobil.
