Ryan Matthews

Ryan Matthews is an experienced production technician with a solid background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Production Tech O&M at Equinor since December 2024, Ryan previously worked at Bumi Armada as a Production Control Room Operator and Stand In Shift Team Leader, contributing from May 2017 to December 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Petrofac, where Ryan was a Production Technician on the Douglas Platform, and at Atlantic Resourcing Limited, focusing on the commissioning of the Conwy satellite platform. Ryan also worked at SABIC as a Production Technician in a top-tier COMAH plant. Educational achievements include a Higher National Certificate in Chemical Engineering from Teesside University and an Advanced Apprenticeship in TVPT from TTE Training School. Ryan completed secondary education at Eston Park Secondary School with 11 A*-C GCSEs.
