Sagar Mehta

Sagar Mehta currently serves as the Manager of Regulatory and Public Affairs at Equinor since October 2023. Prior to this role, Sagar held the position of Director of Special Projects for the Town of North Hempstead from May 2019 to October 2023. Sagar also served as the Director of Community Development for the City of Long Beach, New York from November 2018 to April 2019, and as Deputy Commissioner for the Incorporated Village of Hempstead from June 2013 to October 2018. Earlier in the career, Sagar worked as an External Affairs Specialist for the New York State Senate from April 2012 to June 2013. Sagar holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy Analysis from Stony Brook University, earned between September 2004 and June 2009.
