Sanjith Rajan

Sanjith Rajan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in drilling and well operations. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Drilling & Well Operations at Equinor since May 2018, Sanjith leads a team focused on developing well concepts for infill drilling and overseeing various planning tasks related to pre-plug and abandonment activities and slot recovery. Prior to this role, Sanjith held multiple positions at Statoil, including Senior Engineer in Well Technology and Lead Engineer for Completions, where responsibilities included engineering and design of subsea well completions and planning P&A activities. Sanjith also contributed as a Student Development Officer for the SPE Young Professionals Aberdeen Section and interned as a Reservoir Engineer at Maersk Oil Qatar. Educational credentials include an MSc in Oil & Gas Engineering from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Petroleum Engineering from the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies.
