Semund H. Simensen

Semund H. Simensen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in offshore wind project management. Currently serving as the Transport and Installation Manager for Equinor, Semund oversees seabed fixed offshore wind projects in German waters and has held various technical roles, including Cable Installation and SOV Manager for the Hywind Tampen Offshore Floating Wind Farm and Technical Manager for both the Asterix and Snefrid Nord projects. Semund has also contributed as a Senior Engineer for marine operations on the Aasta Hansteen project and worked on the repair of Bahamas South Riding Point Sea Island Berth 2. Prior experience includes significant roles at Statoil as a Senior Engineer in pipeline and transport technology and survey and mapping, as well as project management experience at Blom Geomatics AS. Semund's military service includes time as a Grenadier in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geomatic from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and a semester at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
