Trond Selland

Trond Selland has extensive experience in cybersecurity, currently serving as a Leading Advisor in Cyber Security at Equinor since January 2010, where responsibilities include working with the CISO and Chief Engineer IT on advisory, governance, and assurance initiatives. Prior roles at Equinor include Cyber Defence - Detect Task Manager, focusing on performance and process, as well as Security Operations Center Analyst, where Trond managed threat intelligence and incident response, and Network Security Engineer, responsible for firewall and SIEM administration. Previous experience includes a Systems Engineer role at NetPower Int., managing server environments, and a customer service role at GE Money Bank. Trond's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Nord University, a Master's degree in Information Technology from Molde University College, and a Bachelor's degree in Network Security from The Norwegian School of Information Technology.
