Yasir Baig

Yasir Baig is a Senior Process Engineer at Equinor, specializing in the Technical Integrity Process for the Johan Castberg project since June 2022. Previously, Yasir held senior positions at Nel Hydrogen and Aibel, where responsibilities included overseeing technical requirements for maintenance and modification projects for key offshore installations, troubleshooting equipment for optimal performance, and conducting Hazop analyses. With extensive experience at Aker Solutions and National Oilwell Varco, Yasir contributed to the design of floating production systems and various process system components. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Natural Gas Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
