Danvey Walsh

Danvey’s specialties include process geomorphology, surface and groundwater hydrology, and environmental geochemistry. He has also been involved with stream assessment and research based stream monitoring from fluvial geomorphological, water quality, and ecological perspectives. As a native of Western North Carolina, Danvey has an appreciation and understanding of the unique culture and natural environment of the region and is committed to preserving the integrity of both. He has an interest in ensuring that, when at all possible, ecological restoration is conducted in a manner which considers sound watershed scale processes and practices.
