Cameron McLean

Cameron McLean is an accomplished exploration manager with extensive experience in the mineral exploration sector, currently serving as the Exploration Manager for Canada at Equinox Gold Corp. since February 2022. Prior to this role, McLean provided consultancy services to the Ontario Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines from May 2020 to February 2022 and held the position of Vice President Exploration at New Dimension Resources Ltd. from May 2018 to May 2020, focusing on high-grade gold and silver deposits across the Americas. Previous roles include Exploration Manager at North American Palladium Ltd. and Aurora Energy - Fronteer Group, as well as consulting geologist positions at Trevali Mining Corporation and New Dimension Resources Ltd. McLean began a career in geology as a project geologist at Diamondex from 2000 to 2007. McLean holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alberta and completed an Executive Development Course at McGill Executive Institute in 2017.
