Kelly Boychuk

Kelly Boychuk joined Equinox Gold in March 2020, following Equinox Gold’s merger with Leagold, as VP Technical Services and was promoted to Senior Vice President in October 2022. Kelly has over 30 years of experience in the design, construction and operations of tailings storage facilities, heap leach pads and mining infrastructure throughout the Americas, and has performed numerous due diligence and project evaluations. Previously, he was VP Technical Services for Leagold from February 2017 until the merger, and held senior management roles with Hunter Dickenson and Silver Standard focused on engineering and business development. Kelly was also the Manager of Project Development with Ledcor’s heavy civil and mining division focusing on mining construction and hydroelectric project development, and Engineering Manager with Knight Piesold Consulting in Chile, Canada, and the USA. He received his B.A.Sc. (Geotechnical Engineering) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of British Columbia and is a registered professional engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
