Graham Curren

Graham Curren is an experienced leader in the semiconductor and education sectors. Currently serving as Trustee/Non-Exec Director and Chair of Governors at Equinox Learning Trust since January 2025, Graham oversees a £15m+ education trust with three schools and over 2,500 pupils, with a focus on strategic governance and financial oversight. As the founder of Sondrel from July 2002 to August 2025, Graham grew a global semiconductor design and supply business, achieving a 20% CAGR and facilitating the largest AIM IPO in the UK semiconductor sector in 2022. Transitioning Sondrel to private-equity ownership in 2024, Graham continues to support strategy and M&A as a Non-Exec Director at Sondrel Ventures. Additional roles include Director at the China-Britain Business Council from June 2011 to September 2017, and prior engineering and marketing positions at ES2 Ltd and Avant!. Graham holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Leeds.
