Janice Tam

Janice Tam is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience across multiple facets of law in the healthcare and technology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Legal Officer at Equip and Principal, General Counsel, and Founder of J Tam Law since February 2024, Janice provides outside general counsel and strategic legal advising to a diverse clientele. Previous roles include VP of Legal and Corporate Secretary at Rune Labs, where Janice contributed to developing software for clinical neuroscience data, and Lead Counsel for Product and Regulatory at Forward, a healthcare company integrating telemedicine and primary care. Janice also founded Estatehood, a SaaS startup supporting bereaved families, and practiced as an attorney at various prestigious law firms, creating innovative legal solutions for ultra-high net worth clients. Janice holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and an A.B. from Princeton University.
