Michael Pierce

Michael Pierce has been working in the business world since 2007. Michael began their career at Northern Trust as an Investment Consultant and a GOLD Program Investment Analyst. In 2012, they became an Accenture Venture Partner at Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs. In 2013, Michael co-founded Equipboard, a site that shows musicians what gear their favorite artists use to create music. Equipboard's gear-loving community surfaces the best equipment for a musician's needs based on artists, genres, and price. In 2022, Michael co-founded NotCommon. Michael currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of both companies.

Michael Pierce obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a focus in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Texas McCombs School of Business between 2010 and 2012. Michael also attended Texas McCombs School of Business from 2002 to 2006, but did not obtain a degree. In addition, they hold two certifications from Coursera: a Google Project Management: Specialization obtained in October 2022 and a Google UX Design Professional Certificate obtained in December 2021.
