Chief Executive Officer at Equitable Facilities Fund

Anand Kesavan has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and education sectors. Anand is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Equitable Facilities Fund, where they aim to provide low-cost, long-term debt to charter schools in order to improve access to education. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President - Structured Finance at Charter School Growth Fund, where they focused on funding and expanding the impact of charter schools across the country. Anand also worked as the Chief Financial Officer at KIPP Austin, contributing to their mission of providing free public education to under-served children. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Senior Vice President - Public Finance Investment Banking at SBS, where they raised significant investment capital for public projects, including K12 education. Anand has also been an Education Pioneers Fellow at Ed Pioneers and previously worked as an Assistant Vice President at UBS Investment Bank.

Anand Kesavan began their education at the University of Michigan in 1998, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, and Applied Mathematics. Anand completed their undergraduate studies in 2002. Following this, from 2000 to 2002, Anand attended the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Finance and Accounting. Later, in 2009, Anand Kesavan enrolled at Harvard University and studied there for two years to earn a Master's degree in Public Policy.
