Maureen Kane

Maureen Kane is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Equitable since February 2019, Kane previously held positions as Managing Director and Managing Counsel at BNY Mellon from July 2014 to February 2019 and as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Century Capital Management, LLC from October 2004 to July 2014. At Century Capital, Kane provided comprehensive legal advice across various departments, developed and administered compliance programs, and counselled senior management on regulatory and compliance matters. Additional experience includes roles as Legal Counsel at DWS Group and State Street, and as Staff Attorney at Fidelity Investments, with service across various aspects of mutual fund compliance and governance. Kane holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.A. in History from Williams College.
