Matthew Bauer

Matthew Bauer has extensive work experience in the medical field. Matthew currently holds the position of Southwest Ohio Medical Director at Equitas Health since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Infectious Diseases Physician at Equitas Health from April 2021 to June 2022.

Previously, Matthew worked at Premier Health Partners from July 2017 to July 2022, where they held the positions of Infectious Diseases Physician and Medical Director.

Matthew's professional journey began in 2012 as a Resident Doctor at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where they worked until June 2015. Matthew then pursued a Fellowship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from July 2015 to June 2017.

Matthew Bauer completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Tennessee Technological University from 2003 to 2008. Matthew then pursued a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the University of Pikeville from 2008 to 2012, specializing in the field of Medicine. Additionally, they achieved a Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in October 2016 and a Subspecialty Certification in Infectious Disease from the same institution in October 2021.
