Subramania Sastri

Subramania Sastri has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Subramania started their career at American Express as an Officer in Card Operations, where they managed credit card repayment and payables. Subramania then worked at Chubb Alba Control Systems Ltd as a Software Support Engineer before joining Infosys Limited as an Executive in Process Management.

In 2004, Subramania joined ICICI Bank as a Regional Head in Retail Banking Operations, where they were responsible for managing liabilities, assets, card operations, and currency chest. Subramania also worked as the Chief Manager in Technology Projects, where they implemented new technologies and developed tailor-made solutions to automate processes.

Subramania then joined SBM Bank (India) as a Vice President, overseeing IT Projects and Digital Initiatives. Subramania inducted multiple applications for the bank, managed vendor selection, system designing, requirement gathering, UAT, production, training, and support. Subramania also played a key role in the creation of the Wholly Owned Subsidiary of State Bank of Mauritius in India and outsourced various activities for efficiency and cost reduction.

Currently, Subramania is working at Equitas Small Finance Bank as the SVP and Head of Business Technology (CPC). Subramania is responsible for managing 36 applications, from vendor selection to project implementation and change request management.

Throughout their career, Subramania has demonstrated expertise in technology, operations management, and project leadership.
