Hamad Haider

Hamad Haider has extensive work experience in the legal and corporate commercial field. Hamad is currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at Equiti Group since July 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Global Head of Legal at Equiti Group from September 2020 to July 2022. Before joining Equiti Group, Haider worked at PwC, where they held various positions including Middle East Head of International Business Reorganisations in both London and Dubai, as well as Partner from March 2016 to September 2020. Hamad also worked as a Senior Associate at Al Tamimi & Company from August 2011 to March 2016, and as an Associate at both Haidermota & Co and Hussain & Haider.

Hamad Haider pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2000, they enrolled at the University of Toronto, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) degree. Their major subjects were Economics and Industrial Relations, with a minor in Professional Writing. Following this, in 2004, Haider attended The University of Law, where they completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law. Hamad continued their legal education at the same institution in 2005, completing the Bar Vocational Course. In addition to their academic qualifications, Haider obtained a certification in "Corporate Governance: Maximize Your Effectiveness in the Boardroom" from Wharton Executive Education in 2022.
