Gregor Carfrae

Gregor Carfrae is an experienced professional in investment and asset management, with a focus on the bioenergy, waste, and energy sectors in the UK and Europe. Currently serving as Associate Director at Equitix since January 2021, Gregor undertakes roles as SPV Asset Manager and SPV Director for projects in construction and operation. Prior to this, Gregor was a Senior Transaction Consultant at Arup from October 2017 to December 2020, providing technical and commercial advisory services for energy-related projects. Earlier experience includes a consultancy role at Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd, where Gregor delivered Owner's Engineer services for energy from waste and biomass thermal power stations. Gregor's career began with an industrial placement at Lloyd's Register and a technician role at Elefsis Shipyards, supported by a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Renewable Energy from The University of Edinburgh.
