Helen Hurlbut

Helen Hurlbut has extensive experience in financial leadership roles, primarily as a Chief Financial Officer. Helen served as the CFO at Equiton Partners from 2015 to present. Prior to that, they held the same position at McArthur Properties/Cherishome Living from 2011 to 2014. Helen also worked as the CFO at Empire Communities from 2007 to 2010. Before that, they held the role of Vice President and Treasurer at Mattamy Homes from 1998 to 2007. Helen began their career at Citicom Inc. as Treasurer and Controller from 1985 to 1998. Throughout their career, they have successfully managed finance, HR, and IT departments, while contributing to the growth and improvement of the organizations they worked for.

Helen Hurlbut earned their HBA in Economics and Business from York University, where they attended from 1981 to 1985. Following that, they pursued a CPA, CMA degree in Accounting from the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario, completing it between 1985 and 1990.
