Aaron Hantsche

Aaron Hantsche currently serves as a Project Geologist at Equity, where responsibilities include managing remote field programs in Alaska, Yukon, and Nevada focused on surface mapping, sampling, drilling, and reclamation. Prior to this role, Aaron held positions as a Senior Researcher at Spotlight Mining, overseeing logistics and content production for geologic reports, and as Executive Director for the Ore Deposits Hub, facilitating connections between industry professionals and academic researchers. Academic experience includes a PhD in Geology from the University of Geneva, along with research and teaching roles at the University of Colorado, where Aaron provided instruction in mineralogy and petrology. Earlier education includes a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin.
