Senior Director of Alumni & High School Placement at EQUITY PROJECT CHARTER SCHOOL (THE)

Kathryn McKenna has had diverse work experience in various organizations. From 2020 to the present, they have been serving as the Senior Director of Alumni & High School Placement at The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School, a school that focuses on achieving educational equity for disadvantaged students. McKenna's previous role at TEP was the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement from 2020 to 2022.

Prior to their position at TEP, McKenna worked as an Alumni Relations Manager at A Better Chance from 2018 to 2019. Kathryn also held roles at Mercy College, where they served as the Associate Director of Stewardship from 2017 to 2018 and as the Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Communications from 2014 to 2017. During their time at Mercy College, McKenna was responsible for alumni communications strategy, social media planning, and overseeing the A.C.E. program.

In 2013, McKenna worked at Montclair State University as a Financial Assistant at the University Foundation and also as a Student Engagement and Programming Assistant. Kathryn'searliest work experience was at SUNY Cortland, where they served as the Interim Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs from 2012 to 2013.

Kathryn McKenna completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the State University of New York Cortland in the years 2008 to 2012. Kathryn'sfield of study during this time was Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and Advertising. Later, between 2015 and 2017, they pursued a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College.
