Adam Strasser

Adam Strasser, CMI, is an experienced professional in property and real estate tax, currently serving as the Vice President of Real Estate Tax at Equity Residential since September 2017. Strasser is responsible for developing strategies to maximize property tax savings and overseeing the corporate real estate tax minimization program. Prior to this role, Strasser held key positions at Walgreens as Senior Manager of Property Tax, managing a significant property tax liability, and at Duff & Phelps as Vice President of Specialty Tax Services. Earlier in their career, Strasser managed property tax issues for BP and provided consulting services at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen LLP. Strasser began their career as an Assistant Attorney General in the Land Acquisition Bureau for the State of Illinois. Strasser holds a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law and a BA in English from Northern Illinois University.
