Kimberly Arnao

Kimberly Arnao serves as a Policy Strategist at ER Assist since October 2015, providing legal counsel and strategy to facilitate disaster response through the interpretation of FEMA policies and state/local regulations. Previously, Kimberly held a position as a Professor of Food Systems at Brightwater from March 2017 to May 2020 and was the Senior Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Walmart from February 2012 to December 2015, where oversight included compliance programs for real estate and construction projects. Kimberly's experience also includes serving as Regional Environmental Counsel for the FAA Southern Region and Deputy Regional Environmental Counsel for the U.S. Air Force, where guidance was provided on environmental issues across multiple states. Kimberly holds an LLM in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Arkansas School of Law, a J.D. in Environmental Law from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, and a B.S. in Biology from Rutgers University.
