Naiyu Sun

Naiyu Sun is an accomplished quality management professional with extensive experience in overseeing quality assurance processes across several industries. Currently serving as the Director of Quality at ERA Industries since September 2023, Naiyu manages a team of over 30 personnel across multiple locations. Previously, Naiyu held the role of Director of Quality at Acme Industries from November 2014 to September 2023, where responsibilities included team development and acting as a liaison for customer and supplier quality. Naiyu also served as Supplier Quality Manager and Quality Assurance Manager/Metallurgist at Galesburg Castings Inc., contributing to product quality control and process design. Earlier experience includes a role as Metallurgist at Citation Corporation, where statistical process control and lean methodologies were implemented. Naiyu earned a PhD in materials science and engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
