William Choppa

William Choppa has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. William is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of Eracent, a position they have held since November 2020. As CEO, they are responsible for leading the organization, developing leaders, and communicating the company's vision to various stakeholders. Prior to becoming CEO, Choppa served as the Senior Vice President of Product Management and Pre-Sales Engineering at Eracent, as well as the Vice President of Sales Architecture and Engineering Solutions.

Before joining Eracent, Choppa worked at iWave Software, LLC as a Senior Solutions Architect and at Scalable Software as a Software Engineer. William also held the position of Director of North America at NEON Systems.

Choppa founded Managing Customer Support, Inc. (MCSI) as a consulting firm for Tivoli Service Desk customers. During their tenure, MCSI provided implementation, customization, and consulting services to numerous clients.

Prior to that, Choppa worked at Tivoli Systems as an Integration Analyst, Implementation Consultant, and Sales Consultant. William was responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and integrating Tivoli Service Desk software.

Choppa began their career at XLConnect, Inc. as a Helpdesk/Network Systems Management Administrator, where they designed, implemented, and managed the complete help desk deployment for Continental Airlines.

William'sfirst job was at Rockwell International, where they served as a Mission Operations Flight Engineer during Space Shuttle missions. Choppa was responsible for providing support to the shuttle crew and managing mission control operations.

Choppa also gained experience at NASA Johnson Space Center as a Cooperative Education Student, where they worked in various engineering roles, including Computational Fluid Dynamicist.

William Choppa completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1989 to 1994. Prior to that, they attended Glens Falls High School from 1986 to 1989. Additionally, in December 2016, they obtained certification as a Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers (IAITAM).
