Aaron Magid

VP, Open Source Technologies at Eradani

Aaron Magid is the current Vice President of Open Source Technologies at Eradani. Prior to joining Eradani, Magid served as the Lead Cloud Systems Engineer at CTI Smart Systems where they were responsible for designing the overarching architecture for CTi's Universal Smart Antenna project. Magid also headed the development of its Node.js Cloud backend and collaborated on feature planning and business model creation for the project.

Before joining CTI Smart Systems, Magid worked as a researcher at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology where they worked on a project involving unmanned aerial refueling of other unmanned aerial vehicles. Their group won first place overall in the program.

Magid began their career as a Mobile Application Developer at Rocket Software where they worked on their mobile applications as well as their web marketing sites.

In addition to their work in the corporate sector, Magid also has experience as an entrepreneur. Aaron is a Co-Owner and Director Of Product Development at BigPie, Inc and was also a Co-Founder and Director of Web Development at SavvyCo, LLC.

Aaron Magid has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University. Aaron is certified by IBM as an IBM Fresh Face and by Scrum.org as a Professional Scrum Master. Aaron has also completed courses from Code School in Building Blocks of Express.js, JavaScript Best Practices, JavaScript Road Trip Part 3, Real Time Web with Node.js, Shaping up with Angular.js, Staying Sharp With AngularJS, The Magical Marvels of MongoDB, and jQuery: The Return Flight.

Their manager is Daniel Magid, CEO. They work with Callie Ventura - Chief Revenue Officer, Mitch Hoffman - VP, Worldwide Sales, and David Romo - Chief Technology Officer.
