Aurelien Rombaut

Aurelien Rombaut is an experienced geologist specializing in exploration, development, and project management within the mineral resources sector. Currently serving as the Exploration, Development and New Projects Geologist at Eramet since September 2019, responsibilities include managing exploration campaigns across multiple countries and scouting new projects in lithium, nickel, cobalt, and heavy mineral sands. Aurelien's prior roles include consultant work focused on due diligence and project reviews in Europe and Africa, and positions ranging from project geologist at Reservoir Minerals to exploration geologist at Agnico-Eagle Mines. Aurelien founded and organized the "Minerals and Fossils Show" in LaSalle Beauvais, demonstrating a commitment to education and outreach within the geology field. Educational qualifications include a degree in Gestion Durable des ressources minérales from ENAG - BRGM School and a Geologist Engineer degree in Mineral Resource Geology from UniLaSalle.
