Leonardo Fuligni

Leonardo Fuligni is an experienced executive leader currently serving as the Executive Director of the European Scaleup Institute, focusing on enhancing Europe's global scaleup ecosystem through research and education. In addition, Leonardo serves as a Jurylid Aanstormend Talent for Rotterdamse Zakenvrouw van het Jaar, and as an Initiator for both Rotterdam Tech Social and O2LAB Rotterdam, which aims to improve entrepreneurial skills among students. As Deputy Director and Head of ScaleUp Research at Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship, Leonardo manages initiatives that generate insights into the growth of SMEs and the innovation ecosystem. Previous roles include Global Expansion Manager, Regional Lead for Southern Europe, and Global Partnership Manager at HousingAnywhere, and founder of Connect to Culture. Educational background includes a Master's in Cultural Economics & Entrepreneurship from Erasmus University and a Bachelor's in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University.
