Cox van de Weg M.D.

Cox van de Weg MD, PhD is currently the CMIO of Digizorg at Erasmus MC, where responsibilities include ensuring the seamless development and implementation of the Digizorg platform in alignment with care processes. Cox also works as a General Internist on the outpatient internal medicine clinic and supervises activities in the emergency department. As a project manager in the Information and Technology department, Cox leads the Clinical Team for the Digitaal Verbonden program, focusing on technology implementation and change management. With a background that includes a fellowship in general internal medicine and significant experience in both training and project management, Cox has contributed to various initiatives aimed at improving patient care. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Infection and Immunity, an MD from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a PhD focused on dengue virus infection.
