Myrthe van Baardwijk

Myrthe van Baardwijk is a researcher and PhD candidate in Bioinformatics at Erasmus MC, focusing on the application of genomics and transcriptomics to understand disease mechanisms and treatment outcomes in oncology and transplantation since April 2021. Previously, Myrthe contributed to the development of a decision support tool for chemotherapy response in pancreatic cancer at Omnigen BV from August 2020 to July 2023, alongside a research internship analyzing treatment responses based on DNA microarray data. Further experience includes student assistant roles at ZonMw, coordinating support for COVID-19 related research grants and assessing grant applications, and research internships at Leiden University Medical Center. Myrthe holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics & Systems Biology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Life, Science & Technology from the University of Groningen.
