Floris Vandewoude

Floris Vandewoude is an experienced medical professional currently serving as an Emergency Medicine Resident at UZ Leuven since October 2024 and as an Advanced Life Support Instructor with the ERC European Resuscitation Council since December 2020. Previous roles include Senior Clinical Fellow at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from October 2023 to September 2024, and multiple emergency medicine residency positions at AZ Delta, az groeninge, AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende AV, and AZ Damiaan, where expertise spanned trauma, pediatrics, anesthesiology, and internal medicine. Floris Vandewoude’s healthcare education includes a Master of Science in Healthcare Management and Policy at KU Leuven, alongside a Master of Science in Specialist Medicine - Emergency Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Medicine, with additional training in disaster medicine and international emergency medicine. Prior to the medical career, Floris Vandewoude worked as a Beach Lifeguard Supervisor at IKWV, focusing on safety and first aid.
