Felipe Zapata

Felipe Zapata has extensive experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Project Engineer. Felipe has worked at companies such as ERC, Inc., Oceaneering, Lockheed Martin, and Rilco Manufacturing, holding roles in design engineering and project management. Felipe has specialized in designing spaceflight hardware and robotics, taking projects from concept through manufacturing, test, and certification. Felipe'smost recent role was as the Mechanical Design Lead at ERC, Inc. starting in 2019.

From 1994 to 1998, Felipe Zapata attended Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
