Alexander Lee

Alexander Lee is a seasoned professional at ERCOT with extensive experience in grid analysis and operations planning, currently serving as Supervisor. Responsibilities include managing the reliability of the ERCOT grid, overseeing Black Start Plans, and engaging in event investigations. Significant accomplishments include leading the investigation of the February 2021 blackout, architecting a web-based intelligence platform for performance reporting, and initiating key stakeholder processes that increased outage transparency. Alexander has also contributed to various MBA projects for organizations such as the Center for Child Protection and Boeing, focusing on KPIs, financial analysis, and business process improvement. Alexander holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
