Amro Quedan is an experienced planning engineer currently employed at ERCOT since July 2022, focusing on grid-forming inverter-based energy storage resources and performing stability analyses within power system simulation models. Prior to this role, Amro served as a teaching assistant for power system analysis and electronics courses at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, while also conducting significant research on microgrid control and power transmission risk analysis. Notable past positions include student engineer at EPRI, graduate research assistant at Wichita State University, and various electrical engineering roles at ETA-max Energy and Environmental Solutions, Dar Al-Handasah, JEPCO, and Golden Electronics. Amro holds a Doctor of Philosophy and multiple master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Wichita State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the University of Jordan.
