Charis Mayhorn

Charis Mayhorn is an accomplished Information Technology Architect currently at ERCOT, where management of electric power flow in Texas is paramount. Prior experience includes roles as a Network Architect at Syniverse and Discovery Inc., where strategic IP network infrastructure planning and integration played a significant role. As the Technology Chair for the Friends of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Charis led the digital transformation of fundraising initiatives, successfully increasing donations. Previous positions also include Network Architect at Scripps Networks Interactive and Senior Network Engineer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where Charis directed technology infrastructure strategy. Charis started a career at Cincinnati Bell, creating training materials for support engineers, following a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Cedarville University.
