Darryl Nitschke

Darryl Nitschke is a seasoned power plant professional with extensive experience in management and operations within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Weatherization Inspector at ERCOT since October 2023, Darryl previously held the position of Plant Manager at NAES Corporation from June 2023 to October 2023. Over a decade at Panda Power Funds, Darryl rose to the role of Power Plant General Manager for the Sherman Project, overseeing a 750 MW combined cycle plant utilizing Siemens technologies. Darryl's career encompasses various leadership roles at notable companies, including Calpine, Tenaska, and PG&E Generating Company, where responsibilities ranged from power plant operations to commissioning activities, including both coal-fired and combined cycle technologies.
