Jimmy Hartmann, NCSO, has extensive experience in power system operations, currently serving as Senior Director of Control Room Operations and Operations Training at ERCOT since November 2000. Responsibilities include ensuring the reliable operation of the ERCOT Interconnection, overseeing Control Rooms, and managing System Operations Training while maintaining compliance with NERC Reliability Standards. Hartmann has progressed through various positions at ERCOT, including Director and Manager roles, and previously worked at South Texas Electric Cooperative and San Miguel Electric Cooperative, where skills in system operations, energy trading, and control room management were honed. Hartmann holds certifications as a NERC Reliability Coordinator and an ERCOT System Operator.
