Steve Christy

Steve Christy is an experienced telecommunications professional currently serving as the Manager of Network Telecommunications Administration at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), overseeing the flow of electric power in Texas since May 2022. Previously, Steve held various positions, including Manager of Telecommunications and Senior Telecommunication Engineer at Versant Health, where responsibilities included architecting and managing Avaya enterprise telecommunications across multiple business units. Steve's extensive background in telecommunications includes roles at CPS Energy, IBC Bank, and Dish Network, culminating in a solid foundation in systems design and implementation. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology/Bio-technology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and an Associate of Science in Biotechnology from San Antonio College.
