Raquel Diez is an experienced Gerber Creative Pattern Cutter with a diverse background in fashion design and pattern cutting. Currently employed at Erdem since May 2017, Raquel is responsible for the development of styles for main collections and special projects while also training and supporting junior staff. Previous roles include freelance work for renowned fashion houses such as Mary Katrantzou and G Hasanova, as well as a head pattern cutter position at Raquel Rivadiez, where collaboration with various designers was key. Raquel's career spans numerous companies and roles, including sample machinist and tailor, with a robust educational foundation in creative and production pattern cutting as well as bespoke tailoring.
