EVs without range anxiety.
Where the gas station is your charging station.
A solution all Americans can embrace. Right now.

Extended Range Electric Vehicles (EREVs) are EVs with a small Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) under the hood, the sole purpose of which is to run a generator to power the electric motors when the car’s battery runs low. This eliminates both range anxiety and the need for a nationwide charging network.
An EREV with a 150-mile battery range will cover most daily needs, with a small 4-cylinder ICE generator and 6-gallon tank providing the electricity to drive an additional 250 miles. If you need to drive further, no problem. Simply fill up at one of America’s 100,000 existing gas stations, as you always have. For EREV owners, America’s gas stations are the nationwide charging network.

EREVs are electric vehicles, with home charging able to cover all but the longest drives. For the average driver, only 10-15% of their 12,000 annual miles will involve the ICE generator, reducing emissions by 85-90% - without range anxiety, without the need to build a nationwide charging network.

We envision a coordinated effort among Automotive OEM’s, their suppliers, regulatory bodies, politicians, advocacy groups, and communications experts to bring EREVS that are cost competitive with traditional ICE vehicles rapidly into the mainstream, find market acceptance, and build reliable market demand.
