Russell Heiman

Russell Heiman currently holds the position of Director of Category Management at Erewhon, overseeing grocery categories and managing processes related to new items and vendor interactions since January 2024. Prior to this role, Russell worked at UNFI from June 2020 to December 2023 as a dedicated Account Manager for Mother’s and served as an Account Manager for independents in Los Angeles and Erewhon. Russell's experience includes a retail position at Organic Avenue in 2012, where responsibilities included customer education on plant-based diets and store logistics. Additionally, from August 2009 to May 2012, Russell was the President & General Manager at SUNY Binghamton Food Co-op, overseeing purchases, social media, and staff management. Russell also freelanced as a digital graphic designer for delicious design co. from 2007 to 2012. Russell holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on Marketing, Leadership, and Consulting from Binghamton University, and graduated with honors from East Meadow High School.
