Richard Hanson

Richard Hanson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the environmental and process engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Group Managing Director of ERG (Air Pollution Control) Ltd, Richard oversees all operational aspects of the company, which focuses on delivering innovative air pollution control and odour abatement systems across various industries in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. Previously, Richard held multiple leadership roles within the ERG Group, including Managing Director and Process and Middle East Director, where strategic oversight and project leadership were paramount. Richard also brings experience from CPL/Puragen Activated Carbons as a Project Engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
