Edoardo Nicolini's work experience began in 2018 as a Graduate Student Researcher at the WindEEE Research Institute. Edoardo'sresearch focused on horizontal winds induced by downbursts and involved comparing data collected from anemometers in the northern Tyrrhenian Sea with experimentally produced downburst simulations.
In 2018, Edoardo also started working as a Project Engineer at RWDI. In this role, they provided consulting engineering services to clients, helping them understand pedestrian level wind and optimize pedestrian comfort. This involved conducting wind tunnel testing and CFD simulations. Edoardo worked on a variety of projects, including residential masterplans, train stations, stadia, supertall buildings, turbulence assessment for helicopter operations, and on-site wind monitoring. Edoardo continued in this role until January 2021.
Currently, Edoardo is a Wind Resource Engineer at ERG Spa, starting in February 2021. Further information about this role is not provided.
Edoardo Nicolini has a strong education background in civil and environmental engineering. Edoardo earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Genoa, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, Edoardo pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the University of Genoa, graduating in 2018. Edoardo also possesses a Diploma in Scientific High School, which they obtained from G.D. Cassini from 2007 to 2012.
