Gerard Conway serves as the Global Head of Cloud Center of Excellence at ERGO Group AG since August 2021, focusing on the development of cloud best practices and governance policies primarily for AWS and Azure. With a rich background in cloud and digital transformation, Gerard has held various leadership positions including Senior Program Director for Security & Cloud at ERGO, CEO & Co-Founder of West Myra Digital Ltd, and Senior Cloud Program Manager at the Bank of Ireland. Prior experience at Vodafone Global Data Centre involved substantial contributions to multi-cloud adoption and big data initiatives. Gerard holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Systems and Software Engineering from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and has obtained several relevant certifications including PMBOK® PMP and ITIL V3.
